Haefely PESD 3010 Gun KIT1

The Haefely PESD 3010 is a 30 kV electrostatic discharge simulator for EMC compliance and pre-compliance testing. It supports both air and contact discharge, with modular RC networks, built-in contact detection and an ergonomic gun body for repeatable placement.

ESD immunity failures are expensive to find late. A product that passes every functional test on the bench can still fail certification on a single discharge to a seam or a connector shell, and pre-compliance testing in-house is far cheaper than a failed run at an accredited laboratory.

Supplied in a card case with: PESD 3010 control box and gun, positive and negative polarity module, 150 pF capacitive module with 330 ohm resistive module, air and contact discharge tips, and a banana lead with alligator clip.

The 150 pF / 330 ohm network is the human body model specified in IEC/EN 61000-4-2, the primary standard for ESD immunity, and is the configuration most commonly required for commercial, industrial and telecom equipment certification.

Typical applications: EMC pre-compliance testing, design verification and fault investigation, production audit testing, and university and research laboratory work.
