JDSU MTS-4000 With QUAD Module KIT1

The JDSU MTS-4000 is a handheld modular optical test platform, the predecessor naming of the VIAVI T-BERD/MTS-4000 line. This unit is fitted with a quad-wavelength OTDR module, which covers both multimode and single mode fibre from one instrument.

Module fitted: E4146QUAD OTDR module operating at 850, 1300, 1310 and 1550 nm.

The quad configuration is the point of this kit. Multimode at 850 and 1300 nm covers enterprise, campus and data centre fibre, while single mode at 1310 and 1550 nm covers access and backbone links. A technician carrying one unit can test both without returning to the depot for a second module.

Typical applications: mixed multimode and single mode site surveys, enterprise and data centre fibre acceptance, fault and break location, splice and connector loss measurement, and maintenance testing.

Supplied in a hard Pelican case with: MTS-4000 mainframe, E4146QUAD OTDR module and AC power cord.
