Keysight Technologies N9952B

The Keysight N9952B FieldFox is a handheld microwave analyser covering frequencies to 50 GHz. It combines cable and antenna test, spectrum analysis and vector network analysis in a single 3.4 kg instrument, which removes the need to carry separate benchtop equipment to site.

Options fitted to this unit: 233 spectrum analyser, 210 vector network analyser transmission and reflection, 211 vector network analyser full 2-port S-parameters, and 235 pre-amplifier. Cable and antenna test is included in the base instrument.

Verified performance: 50 GHz maximum frequency, 120 MHz maximum analysis bandwidth, 1 MHz maximum IQ streaming bandwidth, spectrum analyser accuracy of plus or minus 0.2 dB, and 105 dB dynamic range in vector network analyser mode measuring all four S-parameters simultaneously.

Typical applications: antenna and feeder verification, over-the-air measurement for 5G NR and LTE, component and filter characterisation, EMI investigation, distance-to-fault location, and routine maintenance where bench instruments cannot be deployed.

Supplied with: lithium-ion battery, AC adapter and power cord, RJ45 patch cable, soft case with back and shoulder strap, and printed quick reference guide.

Because the full 2-port S-parameter option is fitted, this unit suits component-level measurement as well as field sweeps. Confirm the connector interface you need before despatch, as adapters are quoted separately.
