Keysight Technologies U2053XA

The Keysight U2053XA is a USB wide dynamic range average power sensor covering 10 MHz to 33 GHz. It connects directly to a laptop and requires no separate power meter, which removes a bench instrument from the kit list entirely.

Verified performance: 10 MHz to 33 GHz frequency range, dynamic range of -70 to +26 dBm, and measurement speed up to 50,000 readings per second.

Configuration of this sensor: option 100, 3.5 mm male connector, and option 301, a 5 ft (1.5 m) power sensor cable.

Typical applications: transmitter output verification, amplifier characterisation, production and acceptance test, and field power measurement where a benchtop meter is not practical.

Supplied with: two BNC male to SMB female trigger cables at 1.5 m, and a 5 ft power sensor cable.

The 96 dB dynamic range suits both low-level receiver work and transmitter measurement without changing sensors.
