VIAVI INX-760 KIT2

The VIAVI INX 760 is an automated fibre connector inspection probe microscope. It inspects single fibre, duplex and multifibre connectors, which means one probe covers LC and SC patch leads as well as MPO and MTP trunks.

Inspection is the step most often skipped and most often responsible for a failed link. A contaminated or damaged endface raises insertion loss and back reflection, and on a data centre MPO trunk a single bad fibre in twelve will fail the whole cable.

Automated workflow: the INX 760 automates the inspection process end to end, using classical image analysis algorithms for standard scenarios and AI-augmented analysis for more complex inspections. VIAVI's PanOptic imaging engine delivers an edge-to-edge field of view without trading away magnification or resolution. The probe is VIAVI TPA enabled for test process automation.

Typical applications: connector endface inspection and pass or fail grading before mating, data centre MPO and MTP trunk acceptance, patch lead verification, and fault investigation where loss is higher than the loss budget predicts.

Supplied in a soft carry case with: INX 760 probe, USB cable and power supply, and a tip set comprising FPT-SC, FPT-SC-A, FPT-LC, FPT-LC-A, FPT-LC-D, FPT-LC-L, FPT-MPO, FPT-MPO-A, FPT-MPO-A6, FPT-MPO-COUPLER and FCPT-MTP-COUPLER.
