Wavecontrol MonitEM-IoT KIT1

The Wavecontrol MonitEM-IoT is a continuous electromagnetic field monitoring station for outdoor deployment. This unit is fitted with the MonitEM-IoT-N-RF8 isotropic electric field sensor covering 500 kHz to 8 GHz.

Verified specification: isotropic electric field measurement to 8 GHz, IP65 environmental protection, LTE-M and NB-IoT communication, battery powered with a stated life of over three years, 25 cm and 555 g.

The battery life is the operational point. A monitoring station that needs no mains supply and no solar array can be sited where the measurement is actually required, rather than where power happens to be available.

Standards: Wavecontrol states the MonitEM-IoT supports compliance with ITU-T K.83 and ICNIRP 2020 for human exposure to electromagnetic fields.

Typical applications: continuous EMF exposure monitoring near mobile base stations, public reassurance and community consultation programmes, council and regulator compliance monitoring, and long-term survey work where a single spot measurement will not settle the question.
